Lectrosonics RM controls the settings on Lectro SM and WM transmitters wirelessly by emitting a special dweedle audio tone picked up through the transmitters wireless lavalier microphone which is very useful when the transmitter is not easily accessible like hidden in a costume/clothing or if a quick frequency change is required and because it uses this special dweedle audio tone rather than direct radio transmission, RM’s like this one are compatible with All SM series transmitters regardless of their frequency block.
