The accommodating gooseneck features a rigid midsection stiffener that prevents drift and secures mic placement, while the fixed-charge condenser capsule delivers a tight cardioid pattern that locks onto the speaker, rejecting ambient noise and feedback. A switchable 100Hz highpass filter (HPF) cuts through stage rumble, mechanical vibration, and proximity effect bass buildup that Sweetwater's live sound technicians say can easily muddy a speaker's voice.
